Laurie Montemurro started dancing professionally in Calgary in 1988 with Springboard Dance Collective. She left Springboard ten years later, continuing to produce shows featuring her work along with the work of various dance artists. Laurie’s work has been presented in fringe and dance festivals in Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Vancouver and Victoria. Moving out to Denman eight years ago, Laurie continued to present her work, establishing herself through the creation of eight full productions and as a performer/choreographer in six others. Lulu goes west productions society, a non-profit dedicated to the production of the performing arts.
